What You Will Do
- Develop and Implement Strategy: Shape business strategies, ensuring alignment with commercial goals and objectives, while managing key global and cross-regional projects.
- Drive Marketing Excellence: Define value propositions, brand positioning, and activation plans for premium and mid-market segments, ensuring execution at global and regional levels.
- Lead Cross-Functional Initiatives: Collaborate on strategic imperatives like sustainability and digital innovation, aligning efforts with market trends and customer needs.
- Collaborate and Align: Work closely with Sales, Product Management, and other teams to enhance customer experience, close market gaps, and ensure smooth large-scale product introductions.
- Represent AkzoNobel: Act as the face of the Commercial Marketing organization in industry groups, building strong external and internal relationships.
- Team Engagement and Development: Foster a collaborative environment that enables team members to perform at their best, while managing budgets and reporting progress on key initiatives.
What Do You Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: At least 8 years in a commercial environment, with expertise in managing large, complex projects across multiple regions and business cultures.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, networking, and negotiation abilities, paired with a strategic mindset and a strong drive for performance.
- Leadership: A proven ability to lead and inspire teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering innovation.
- Languages: Fluent written and spoken English.
- Personal Qualities: Strong problem-solving skills, organizational acumen, and the ability to influence and motivate others on a transformational journey.
