Job Purpose

 

In this role you will be part of the Dutch Payroll and Reporting team based in Amsterdam, part of AkzoNobelN Global Business Services. The team’s responsibility is to process a solid payroll every 
month, within the legal and regulatory procedures and performance agreements. You also ensure correct payment to the tax authorities and pension fund.

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Participate in monthly payroll control process. Perform and analyze monthly payroll checks; 
  • Drive payroll process improvement, through payroll analytics and CI methodology;
  • Ensure on time and accurate processing of internal controls (ROCK);
  • Work closely with the Workforce Admin and the Process and System colleagues in Warsaw;
  • to assure accurate data and reliable monthly payroll;
  • Work closely with the Payroll reporting and Project analyst to support each other in reaching department goals;
  • Participate in projects with multidisciplinary teams to drive quality improvements;
  • Handle complex payroll requests (2nd line support) from AN employees & third party vendors on time and according to quality standards;
  • Work closely with third part Payroll provider and drive SLA's.

Experience

 

  • Work/act on Bachelor level (VPS or Payroll education)
  • 2 – 5 years working experience;
  • Experienced in working with complex payroll in a multinational environment;
  • Good verbal and written expression in both Dutch and English is a must;
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office (especially Excel);
  • Very good analytic skills and accurate working methods;
  • Proactive and positive attitude;
  • Eager to learn new things and the ability to learn quickly;
  • Service and result focused mindset;
  • Ability to excel in a fast paced, complex environment and meet tight deadlines;
  • Be a team player with a high level of flexibility.
