Junior Financial Controller

The Role
•    Together with the Senior Financial Controller, act as business partners to CIO & IM leadership team
•    Provide critical financial insights into the performance of the ICT department & its future potential
•    Analyse & review financial performance
•    Deliver sound insight to the IT operations teams on their operational costs, with clear explanations of deviations from budgets & forecast
•    Support the Senior Financial controller and the IM leadership team on the set up & review of business cases for IT project investments (both capex and opex).
•    Ensure accounting compliance
•    Ensure the accuracy of data and the accounts
•    Proactively seek to deliver continuous improvement through collaboration, mutual support, feedback & brainstorming
•    Collaborate in projects and initiatives to standardize, streamline & automate processes within the Functional Control team
 
About You
•    Graduate in a relevant subject, such as Accounting, Economics or Business Studies
•    Experience in a business partnering financial role (such as business controlling, FP&A, cost control) 
•    Sound understanding of key accounting principles (IFRS) & accounting systems (SAP, HFM hyperion)
•    Hands-on proactive attitude 
•    Eye for detail & accuracy
•    Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
•    Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key
•    Not afraid to challenge & remain objective whilst being supportive in achieving goals
•    Experience in forecasting, budgeting & capex/opex investment projects a big plus
•    Keen to develop in Power BI and other dashboarding tools
