In short (Purpose of the job)

AkzoNobel is looking for Head of Talent Acquisition CoE to join us in our headquarters in Amsterdam office. This key role forms part of Global Center of Expertise including D&I, Talent Acquisition & Capability Development and will steer our talent acquisition function across the globe.

This role reports to the Director D&I, Talent Acquisition & Capability Development, who reports to Chief HR Officer.
 

Key responsibilities

•    Demonstrate a global mindset in developing and designing Talent Acquisition Strategy with HR Leadership team to build best in class talent acquisition function
•    Partner with Regional Talent Acquisitions Teams for co-design and implementation of Talent Acquisition Strategy based across multiple entities to become a fully integrated Talent Acquisition team
•    Brings expertise to global projects to ensure full alignment to AkzoNobel priorities and ensure step change in Talent Acquisition and Onboarding across the company
•    Drive Talent Acquisition Process Excellence based on experiences of candidates and hiring managers and HR 
•    Steer the Employer Value Proposition agenda for the organization, including its creation and communication along with employer branding initiatives
•    Drive continuous improvement in Talent Acquisition and Onboarding with a clear eye on innovation, future trends, and technological development 
•    Ensure alignment with Strategic Workforce Planning, in terms of hiring for new skills, new sourcing strategies 
•    Ensure establishment and implementation of diversity and inclusion objectives in the global recruitment process
•    Ability to use a metrics-based approach to ensure the company hiring plan is achieved efficiently, using benchmarks for planning purposes and taking a data driven approach to quickly identify and solve pain points
•    Maintain a network of external parties for improving Talent Acquisition in the organization
•    Ensure alignment and integrated approach between Talent Acquisition and Talent Management for optimum talent experience

 

What do you bring? (Job requirements)

•    You have Masters’ degree ideally in Business Administration, Psychology or HR
•    You are a professional with 10+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition and Onboarding, both at global and operational level 
•    You are experienced in transforming talent acquisition function to deliver best in class experience for candidates and hiring managers
•    You bring expert knowledge of Talent Acquisition and Onboarding concepts, principles, and methodologies that impacted more than one region
•    You have track record in successful project management of Talent Acquisition and Onboarding programs 
•    You are experienced in external benchmarking, including keeping track of trends and developments in Talent Acquisition and Onboarding
•    You bring solid project management skills, along with the ability to manage and motivate internal stakeholders 
•    You have advisory skill to work together with Regional Talent Acquisition teams and Strategic HR Business Partners
•    Your proven ability to anticipate and manage change and recommend pragmatic solutions aligned with business and HR strategy is one of your strengths
•    You have excellent verbal and written English language & presentation skills
•    You bring conceptual and analytical and result oriented approach in combination excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
•    You are ccustomer oriented and you bring influencing and problem-solving capability
•    Your style is collaborative and engaging with focus on developing yourself and others
