Purpose of the job

Join our dynamic Global Mobility Services team within the Rewards Center of Expertise as a Global Mobility Officer! In this exciting role, you'll play a crucial part in managing all aspects of international relocations, including benefits, taxation, immigration, and relocation. Collaborating closely with recruitment, finance, shared services, and local country teams, you'll ensure top-notch service delivery to our valued relocating employees. Be an integral part of our mission to provide exceptional global mobility support and help us take our services to the next level!

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Support the Global Mobility Case Manager for local international hires in specific regions.
  • Manage end-to-end coordination of relocations including immigration, relocation, tax, social security, children’s education, and partner support.
  • Act as a liaison between AkzoNobel and global mobility outsource vendors.
  • Calculate cost projections for relocation packages upon request.
  • Conduct policy counseling for relocating employees and family members.
  • Maintain relocation data in local and global HRIS systems.
     

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Law, Economics, Business Administration, or similar field required
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Global Mobility operations
  • Experience with administering Long term and Short term assignments is a plus
  • Eager to learn and grow quickly
  • Analytic, detail-oriented, independent, and a team player
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, and planning skills required.
