Home to well-known brands, we are now recruiting a Finance Controller to collaborate with the Information Management (IM) Department and provide critical financial insights into their performance and future potential.


The Role
•    Be the go-to expert finance person to CIO & IM Leadership team
•    Provide guidance, advice & support to the IM department by planning, forecasting & developing initiatives to achieve strategic goals
•    Provide transparency & clarity to stakeholders by analysing & reviewing Function financial performance 
•    Provide insight to underpin critical strategic decision making for ICT projects & initiatives (both capex and opex)
•    Ensure the accuracy of the accounts
•    Assure compliance with company processes & policies
•    Proactively seek to deliver continuous improvement through collaboration, mutual support, feedback & brainstorming
•    Nurture & coach analysts within the functional control team (NB: zero direct reports)


About You
•    Graduate in a relevant subject, such as Accounting, Economics or Business Studies
•    Experience in a business partnering financial role
•    Experience of partnering with an ICT or Tech function or previous experience in these areas is a must
•    Sound understanding of key accounting principles
•    Working knowledge of accounting systems
•    Effective at forecasting & budgeting
•    Demonstated ability to lead stakeholders across multi-functional & cultural teams
•    Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
•    Enjoys a collaborative working environment where supporting colleagues is key
•    MBA or chartered controller/accountant degree a plus
