• 2-3 Rotations + international assignment in one of our Finance pillars (e.g. FP&A, Group Control, Commercial Finance, Audit etc.) shaped together with you
• Individual learning & development curriculum for your career (Incl. guest lectures, external training & more)
• Mentor from our Finance Leadership Team

Your Career Opportunities

• While you are on this exciting journey with us, you will receive plenty of support along the way. Your personal coach as well as our current Finance Graduates will help you to feel comfortable in your role as a trainee and settle from Day 1. Your Mentor from our Finance Leadership team will support you to create your own network and will explore the different career opportunities together with you for both, short term (next rotation) and long-term (after the graduate program) that fit to your strengths.
• Additionally, we will offer a concentrated blend of experiential on-the-job learning through different assignments in various Finance departments. There, you will learn all aspects of our finance operations including strategy, planning and performance, reporting and control, business operations, technology and analytics, leadership, and professional ethics and values. You will work alongside experienced professionals who will guide you through each step of your training, providing you with the tools and knowledge needed to succeed.
• Also, classroom and online training with focus on various skills like AI, Project and Change Management as well as Storytelling with Data & more will enable you to build your skills and transition from college to the corporate workplace, leveraging strengths and defining your career path. 
• Our Finance Graduate Program is designed for you to become one of our future finance leaders within AkzoNobel. After the 2 years and different rotations, you will be landing in a finance position within one of our finance pillars where you can create the most impact for yourself and AkzoNobel.  

Who are we looking for? 

• You obtained a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline by September 2024
• You graduated no more than 2 years ago
• You have high ambition and desire to learn and grow to become a finance leader  
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are ready to embrace a digital future of finance 
• You are not afraid to challenge the status quo and bring a fresh viewpoint 
• Proficiency in English
