Dutch Tax Compliance Officer

Purpose of the job

Are you passionate about ensuring compliance and accuracy in tax reporting? Join AkzoNobel as a Dutch Tax Compliance Officer and take charge of corporate tax compliance, reporting, and process improvements. Based in Amsterdam, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate tax filings and tax reporting.
 

Your Responsibilities
 

• Prepare & file the Dutch fiscal unity corporate income tax return
• Determine quarterly Dutch IFRS tax position
• Manage and contribute to group tax reporting and transparency such as (Public) Country-by-Country Reporting, DAC6, and Pillar Two compliance
• Handle Dutch dividend & withholding tax processes
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as external auditors and tax authorities
• Improve tax reporting and compliance processes
   

What do you bring?

• 6+ years in tax compliance/accounting
• Strong Dutch tax law & IFRS knowledge
• HBO/WO degree in Tax Law or Accounting

Skills and competencies

• Analytical mindset & attention to detail
• Hands-on approach and energetic, positive ‘can-do attitude’ 
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent in Dutch & English (both written and verbal)
