Purpose of the job

Are you ready to lead and transform IT in Finance?

 

At AkzoNobel, we are looking for an experienced IT Delivery Domain Lead – Finance to drive innovation, manage large-scale projects, and lead a talented team. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for delivering IT solutions, ensuring service performance, and overseeing a global project portfolio. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders, manage supplier contracts, and support the transition to Agile DevOps working models. Key responsibilities

 

  • Lead IT Delivery in Finance: Own, grow, and drive IT solutions within the Finance domain.
  • Project & Portfolio Management: Deliver projects on time, in full, and within budget while managing risks and dependencies.
  • Financial Oversight: Ensure budget planning, PO compliance, and financial forecasting for your domain.
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing team of IT professionals, project managers, and Scrum Masters.
  • Supplier & Vendor Management: Oversee contracts, renewals, and service quality with external partners.
  • Agile & DevOps Transformation: Enable and support teams to work in an Agile way, ensuring best practices in IT service delivery.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with IT Leadership, Finance teams, and Global Process Owners.

What you bring

  • Proven Leadership Experience in IT delivery, project management, and finance systems.
  • 10+ Years of IT Experience, with at least 5 years in management roles.
  • Financial Acumen, ensuring cost-effective and value-driven IT solutions.
  • Strong Vendor & Contract Management Skills, ensuring optimal partnerships.
  • Agile/DevOps Knowledge, driving continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Excellent Communication & Stakeholder Management skills.
