We’re looking for a Pricing & Insights Specialist to turn complex data into clear insight that helps shape smarter commercial decisions and future strategy. In this role, you’ll work at the heart of our commercial team, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities that drive profitable growth.

At AkzoNobel, we’re proud of our heritage and our commitment to innovation. You’ll join a collaborative environment where insight matters, curiosity is encouraged, and your work directly supports strategic decision-making across the business.

What you’ll do:
•    Interpret pricing, margin, and performance data to identify trends, risks, and commercial opportunities.
•    Translate complex analysis into clear, actionable insights, presenting to stakeholders to support strategic decisions.
•    Develop and maintain pricing structures and discount frameworks aligned to business goals.
•    Analyse competitor activity, market dynamics and external factors, recommending changes to commercial plan.
•    Review post–price change and promotional performance, making recommendations for future actions.
•    Support pricing governance processes, highlighting non-compliance and driving timely resolution.
•    Create compelling data visualisations and reports that provide insight, not just data.
•    Champion data accuracy and integrity across pricing systems and tools.
•    Promote a self-serve analytics culture by upskilling teams in data interpretation and storytelling.
•    Contribute to continuous improvement of pricing processes, tools, and ways of working.

What you bring:
•    Strong analytical and numerical skills, with excellent attention to detail and independent problem solving.
•    Commercial awareness and an understanding of how pricing and market dynamics impact performance.
•    Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
•    Exposure to, or enthusiasm for learning, data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
•    Ability to communicate insights clearly and confidently to a range of stakeholders.
•    A proactive, curious mindset with a passion for turning data into meaningful insight.
•    Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
•    (Desirable) Experience in pricing, insights, analytics, or a commercial environment.

Who you are:
•    Insight-driven, curious, and eager to understand what sits behind the numbers.
•    Confident presenting data-backed recommendations in a clear, compelling way.
•    Collaborative and credible, able to build strong relationships across teams.
•    Organised, adaptable, and comfortable managing ambiguity.
•    Positive, engaged, and motivated to continuously improve how insight is delivered.
